Cliff has been singing since an early age, learning from and listening to his father singing in the pubs and clubs. He grew up listening to all the great late 50’s and 60s music rock-n-roll etc. He always enjoyed listening to and singing along to the music of Jim Reeves, Joe Dolan, Buddy Holly and many other artists. As time went on he started to get into the country music scene which he now enjoys and loves.
Cliff played the clubs and pubs with a charity group for 16 years
He then decided it’s time to leave the group and spread his wings. In 2006 he went solo covering songs from the late 50’60’ 70’s and country music and has not looked back since. Releasing his first album Colours and dreams in 2007, cover songs from an artist and good friend whom he admires greatly Charlie Landsborough.
In April 2008 he released his second album Part of Me. He then tried his hand at songwriting and written many songs since. One of these was for his late mother who passed away November 2008 titled I remember you that way. The albums get a lot airtime from radio stations here in the UK and around the world, especially in Southern and Northern Ireland, making artist of the month on several stations. Since going solo Cliff as appeared on NTV in Belfast and has done many live radio interviews in Ireland and phone link ups in Australia
.Cliff is now appearing in country music festivals in Ireland and the UK, with another new album is set for 2011
