Bio:
The group was form in 2004 in Memphis Tennessee. Originally there were 3 members; one died in a tragic gun battle in 2005. At the time they only recorded one song together as 3TIMESTRILL. After morning the lost of one of group members, Mayhem and Scoobymane decided not to replace the Fallen and push on thus changing the name to 2TIMESTRILL. Mayhem came with the beats and it was Scoobymane job to rhyme. Scoobymane was one of the orginal 901 THUGS. The group completed an album and sold 50,000 copies in the southern region. Not long after the success of the album Scoobymane was asked to go solo by his manager. When it was announced to the group all hell broke loose thus lead to the demise of the 901thugs. Searching for a new home with music. Scoobymane bumps into a childhood friend by the name of Mayhem. At the time Mayhem was currently producing tracks with a group called MaddHouz. The bad business with in the group became to much for Mayhem to handle. Shortly after Scoobymane and Mayhem conversed about the ambitions to make it the rap game, Mayhem left his group MaddHouz for which he served for 15 years. Scoobymane wanted to work so Mayhem so gave him a couple of beats to work with. During the filming of Hustle and Flow, Scoobymane and Mayhem team up to record there first project “Strickly Pimpin.” The song didn’t make it to the hustle and flow sound track but it made in into the documentary “Pimpin Aint Dead.” After molding a couple of songs Scoobymane got mayhem to feature on a song. After the song was heard the hood was like, whom is that rapping with you? Scoobymane told them that’s Mayhem. People were stunned that he could rap as well as produce songs. So Mayhem took on the role of Producing and Rapping. The chemistry of the two went well together. Scoobymane with the hard-core thug style and Mayhem with the smooth pimp style give you a duo that ranks the best since Eight ball and MJG.
