Daniel Mason Swartz is a Singer/Songwriter originally from Kentucky. Singing ever since he can remember at an early age. Daniel started to play guitar at age 11 and writing music quickly followed. With influences ranging from that of Hall&Oates, Michael Jackson, Kenny Loggins, Garth Brooks, James Morrison, and Gavin Degraw. He began to sing publicly in his local church and was in and out of a few bands in college. He had some success early in his career with a Pop group called "2Real". Went on to form a Pop/Rock group named "Redefined" with similar success sharing the stage at venues and festivals with artists such as Nouveau, Big Tent Revival, and Newsboys. As each band member went their seperate way Daniel continued to write and perform his own music. He led music worship for over 4 years at his home church in KY. That ended in the early spring of 2008 when he was led to make a new home in Music City. The Singer/Songwriter move to the Nashville, TN. area in the summer of 2008 to pursue singing and writing music full time. With styles ranging from R&B, Pop, Pop Rock, to Country, Daniel has made some small waves as a Songwriter thus far in his new hometown. He was a recent winner of Puckett's "Rising Star" Songwriting Contest '09 out of Franklin, TN. Currently, he has Pop songs getting some attention in the 'Disney' world and a few Country songs on hold. Daniel performs his music locally around Nashville area.
