- Johta Vay is a young new artist who entered the music world at the age of 17. He found a love for music and a desire to expand his knowledge of the music industry. He currently writes and records music in Southern New Jersey where he resides. He was born Taurel Davenport in Honolulu, HI. He spent his life growing up in Texas and New York. His personal experiences in life and love have influenced his music and lyrics. He composes music that range from future aspirations to the various doubts he endures from himself and others. Johta Vay will surely be in a genre of his own. A new age artist bent on making emotion-driven music and musical ambition that allows him to continue to grow as both a person and an artist.
