Bio:
Gunter Cheatham, singer-songwriter from Madison, Mississippi, hits you right at home with his music, singing about anything from tailgates to heartbreaks. Cheatham was born and raised in Jackson, Ms. He began playing when his dad gave him his first guitar at age 12. After playing with many local musicians for years he moved to Starkville, Ms. While there, he attended Mississippi State University, where he played out routinely on the local music scene. In 2006, he graduated and moved back home to Jackson. From there, he played out back and forth from Jackson to Starkville. In 2008 he moved to Nashville, Tn, where he began pursuing a career in songwriting. Recently he has been playing out a lot in Mississippi where his roots are from.
