Bio:: Devin, James, Lauren, and Rock met as members of a previous band in 2008. After that band dissolved, their close friendships and shared musical vision brought them together into a new band, PoorWater, in 2010. The band was not complete until James' cousin, Nate, joined on the bass. PoorWater spent 2010 writing songs and challenging themselves to push the boundaries of music. PoorWater is currently recording tracks and performing in the Phoenix area. About Lauren: Lauren started playing the cello when she was ten and has been singing her entire life. At thirteen she decided to dedicate her life to music. She played classical cello in many different school and community orchestras throughout her school career, but her true love has always been rock music. Following her passion, she began experimenting with rock and electrified cello in high school. Lauren graduated from the University of Arizona with a bachelors degree in Music Education in 2008. She taught orchestra, band, general music, choir, and class violin during the next three years in the Phoenix area. She is currently focusing on her music and art.
