Bio:: Mercury Morning has been through a few changes since it began in 2008. After dozens of shows and gathering attention from independent labels and Radio personalities, singer Ivo parted ways with the original co-writer in the end of 2009 and rebuilt the band with bassist Anthony Dinallo & drummer Jim Connolly. The two came as a pair as they had been working on songs needing the finishing touch of the right vocals. After their first jam session in which Ivo wrote melodies for 10 songs back to back in one take, Anthony and Jim were certain they had finally found the right fit. Additional arrangement and guitar was completed later with the addition of guitarist James ‘Lava’ Boehmer. Special thanks to Jack Broad for guitar duties in mid 2010. With a quick recovery, the band was again doing rounds in the nyc/nj scene as early as May 2010 and by the end of the year, had recorded enough material for a new EP. April 2011 gave birth to “Aries”, the band’s first EP featuring new material written and performed by the new members.
