Formed in 2009 by a group of friends, the chemistry of Mercury Upon Us is unlike most bands today. These diverse and experienced musicians blend together hardcore, punk, and melodic rock to create a unique yet familiar new sound in modern rock. Based out of Minneapolis/St. Paul, Mercury Upon Us strives to both bring attention to the local music scene and revitalize the national music scene by creating a fresh sound that appeals to a wide audience. Their malleability to a variety of generes makes them a great pairing for just about any rock show. With a new series of singles being released, a number of shows planned around the region, and being sought after by management/labels, 2011 promises to be a big year for the band.
