Michael McClinton - Taking music & running with it Hailing from Bloomingdale NJ, Michael was more than your typical Jersey boy feeling, breathing, living music everyday of his life. Back in the 80's, Michael started playing music in the band Anafaze with his long time friend's Thomas Cleland, Chris Poland, & Kevin M. With this line up Anafaze played and recorded for over a year, with a 5 song EP at Emi recording studio in South New Jersey. Some time later, Anafaze split up & Michael moved on to a North New Jersey band called Syzergy. Hailing from Ringwood NJ, Jeff Kittren, Charlie Holman AKA Chip & Don Grilli went on to play out, opening for such bands like Kings X, Manowar, Winger, Childs play and many other national acts with such songs like Tear of fire & Reality or dreams. These tracks were being played on NJ's 89.5 WSOU for months. But after some time, Michael and the band found it would be better if he moved on to something more his style. But despite it all, Michael and his bandmates still talk to this day. Michael even invited old friend Jeff Kitren to do some solos for his upcoming album "But still holding on" as well as possibly coming out on the road and performing with Michael on some dates on his "Full Circle" 2011 tour . After Syzergy, Michael continued to work as a singer/songwriter with various bands writing songs that may even make one of Michaels future albums. During this period, Michael signed on to do some work with a band hailing from England. Days before his departure, his future wife found out they were expecting their first child. Michael decided to stay home to be there when their child was born, taking some time off from music. After a 10 year heiatus, Michael became inspired to start writting for his new album. And after two years of writting and trying out different members for the band, the label decided to send Michael to Silent owl studios in upstate New York to work with John and Paul Carabello, formally of the Ataris. After working on the album for months, the eleven song album is to be released on May 31, 2011 & to be followed up with a 2011 tour. One of Michaels songs, "Keep myself for me" (with lyrics written by Eric Suky of Sukymedia.com) is going to be released on Rockband 3 as a download. With a great team in place for the 2011 tour, Michael is sure to make a big mark on the music industry along with Jason Kelly of Timeline management & road manger Marcos Ortiz. Accompanying Michael will be a band of seasoned musicians behind him like Scott Jackson on bass, Jon Esposito & Michael Oakes on guitars, Mike Campbell on drums and cowriter Eric Suky on keyboard for the east cost part of the tour with the hopes that the record label will keep everyone together for the entire tour. But the fact of Jon, Mike and Eric being part of NY original/cover DEAF, DUMB, & BLIND, that may be a little hard to do, but not impossible. But we are sure this line up will be back together for the last part of the tour in December when Michael returns to his home state of NJ to head back into Silent Owl Studios to record the follow up to "But still holding on." We all at Timelime Management and EMI have full faith in Michael and his music to release some amazing music from this album and from albums to come. This man is all heart. with a talent and a vision. Jason Kelly - Timeline Management
