- Not much is happening in Oil Trough right now, we sorta had a slow down on our hands. So I left my able deputy Tallulah in charge and decided to come on the road with my boys in our little pick up band we call Sheriff Lonestar (that's me) and the Deputies of Heartbreak (thats Deputy Marshall and Deputy Wright). We been working on some songs for a while now between chasing speeders and watching cars rust. People often ask me how I get time to be a Sheriff and rock Musician. I always say boys when your vacations due you gotta go where your heart leads you, and it tends to lead mine towards a bar and a rowdy crowd. We play blues and punk, well not strictly speaking blues and not strictly speaking punk. I was sat out on my porch one evening and thought what if them good ol' Canadian boys Propaghandi covered a Albert King Song? Or what if the Fabulous Thunderbirds had been founded in Orange County? And thats where my heart led. to that sound of angry young men with something to say drifting out on a highway with no name. .
