Batuke is a punk-rock band from Bogotá, Colombia. It was founded in 2007 by Pascal Lalinde (guitar, vocals) and Rodrigo Contreras (guitar) both ex-members (and co-founders) of the ska revival band De Vuelta a Kingstone. The idea behind this project is just to bring back the old school sound of rock ‘n roll and punk-rock to the local scene, which is saturated with fusion bands.
