Bio:: G.I.F.T.S! Ministry originally began as Lakisha Gaymon’s vision in 2001 with a host of family members and friends. For months the group rehearsed a few gospel songs but didn’t actually perform anywhere. As the months grew, the group got smaller. Ultimately, G.I.F.T.S! became a group of 4 members. They performed at churches and other functions. In 2003, the ministry went through some trials and tribulations that led the group to disband for many years. Some may have thought it was the end of G.I.F.T.S! but what the enemy intended for bad, God meant for good. He allowed the members to separate so that they could grow stronger in Him and stand once again as G.I.F.T.S! in 2010. To the reunion of Lakisha Gaymon, Joy Matthews, Yolanda Parks and Giovanna Davis, He has added Joan Wilson and Latasha Shears. The 6 females, who represent this ministry, all have a story to tell. We are powerful, God fearing, prayerful, loving and CHANGED so we are not afraid to tell the world who Christ is and what he’s brought us through.
