Reys Of Lyght is a rock band founded in Rome in 2008 thanks to the commitment and dedication of the five members: Rey Noman: vocalist Ly: lead guitar Danny Stark: guitar C. e. M.: bass Oscar Capodilupo: drums all driven by a passion for music and the need to communicate their creative talents. Thus begins their journey, characterized by a strong sound and a particular style, which has its roots in different genres and bands ranging from Blues, Rock 'N Roll, Hard Rock, Soul, Punk, passing thru Pop and Progressive. In particular they refer to cult groups in rock music and beyond that had a great influence on them: bands like Queen, Deep Purple, Led Zeppelin, Iron Maiden, Metallica, Motley Crue, Nirvana, the Sex Pistols, the Scorpion and Dream Theater. The path taken led Reys Of Lyght to perform at various musical events such as: Alive Festival Rock in Cassino Notetempo in Rome and in different locations and clubs such as Jail Break Aran Pub Alkatraz Fiumicino Sinister Noise Club Under the Sea Open Bar Emergency Festival and many others. After the enthusiastic response of the public, the band decided to go in the studio with producer Francesco Lenzi to record their first self-produced album: "Rejected", published December 10, 2010. The result is a great mix of original songs, intense, with many nuances that express very contemporary concepts; the "Rejected" project focuses on fundamental themes such as awakening of man from apathy, responding to oppression with faith in ideals, and continued research and expression of love in harmony with its complexity. At the moment, Reys of Lyght are rehearsing the material for a number of live shows scheduled in the next months, and already working on new songs for their follow-up album, yet untitled. Nikky Esposito A word from the producer I met Reys of Lyght in a difficult moment in their history. They wanted to express themselves, but needed help in focusing. We met and after a few weeks we started work on “Rejected”. All the parts came out quite naturally, thanks to the massive amount of preproduction work they had done and the musicianship. Recording and mixing was done in less than a month. It is a fine record, in my opinion, a nice balance of polished and rough. And I just love double leads... Best Francesco “Frank” Lenzi, theUnderlab
