Bio:: Manny J was born November 14 1992 he is a Singer/Songwriter from New Orleans, LA. Singing since the age of 4 he knew exactly what he wanted to be once he saw Michael Jackson just lift his hand and people just fainted he would say to his mom that’s what he want to become when he grows up and not to be just a singer and dancer but an all around entertainer, he is influenced by Michael Jackson, Beyonce, Usher, Brandy, Keyshia Cole, Aaliyah, Sisqo, and surprisingly Teddy Pendergrass and The Isley Brothers. His style is fresh and different he mixes R&B/Soul and Pop lyrics over Hip-Hop beats and works his magic. Manny J likes his audiences to relate to everything he sings and writes which means he is very passionate about his work and will not put out anything but what he feels is the best. In Late 2010 Manny J ran into rapper/c.e.o. Patrick (smokealota) Robinson on bourbon st. an asked was they looking for talent an Patrick said “we always looking for talent” then Patrick asked why do you want to sing an Manny J response was “ I want to be a star” They both laughed, Manny auditioned an it was on from there. Patrick couldn’t believe the talent in this young kid an people on bourbon st. gathered in a street wide circle too listen they clapped and threw money, so you can guess what happen next.
