Hip Hop Hwy is a full service independent music label that was created to assist my daughter with her music career. We are hard -working, good southern people who have invested all of our spare time and commerce into getting our company off of the ground. We have encountered so many independent artists that are just as hard working as we are. The only thing that is missing for them is the opportunity to show off their many talents. The Mississippi Independent Artists United Music Festival will give them just that. The festival performances will be given by these such artists, as well as an array of celebrity guests that have traveled that same road of hoping, wishing and determination to achieve their much deserved success. Please support us in our festival, by becoming one of our sponsors, vendors, and/or performers.
The MIAU 2011 music festival has been developed as an attempt to detour the negative impressions that have been given to the Hip-Hop industry. As it has been with any age group or musical genre, Hip-Hop does not only involve profanity, sexism and violence. Hip-Hop, when written by positive artists can educate our youth by sending a strong and positive message. Hip-Hop can be a useful tool in reaching our youth and we must learn the language of our youth in order to communicate with them. A vast majority of our youth feel just as we do about Hip-Hop songs that portray only negative images of the genre. Well, here is the opportunity for our youth to express their feeling through music, song and dance. During our festival, feel free to present traditional and/or contemporary Gospel, Blues and Hip-Hop performances. Thank you for supporting one of the best community events of Greenwood, Mississippi. Your sponsorship in this project goes far beyond the money that you invest. By being involved in this incredible festival, you will delight and connect with thousands of people in the Mississippi Delta. Cash, Prizes and Trophies will be given away daily. Thank you for being a part of it!
With Love,
