Join Obi for an intimate performance of sacred and sensual rhythmic sounds and grooves followed by a sound and rhythm workshop.
Cost: $5.00

Specializing in improvisational and dance driven rhythm, Obi explores every voice the drum has to offer and constantly strives to expand each possibility. From the soft and sensual sounds of the Udu and vibrant buzzing of the berimbau to the explosive cracks and pops of the doumbek and regal textures of the Bata (and more) he tears down the walls of the expected opening the way to experience the sounds of our desires.

After his performance, Obi will present an interactive rhythm and sound workshop. Bring your drums, bring your voice.
