Hi Barrie.  Thanks you so much for your comment. I play piano and guitar.  The tracks presented here are recorded from a midi-keyboard and the different instrument sounds are selected in a music software program.

My favorite today is I love God!!  What a wonderful song!!

Thank you Barrie for listening to more of my music.  Yes, I composed The Courage To Be and all of the music on the player provided by this website and the reverbnation player.  Since I am new here I haven't really put in a Bio yet, so sometime soon I will. I am an improvisational composer.  I will get ideas while practicing and then while playing will develop the music as I play and record.  Then I will add other instruments. I'm so glad you are enjoying my music.

Oh, one more thing about The Courage To Be.  That is not me playing the guitar - I am playing on a midi-keyboard and added a track that synthesizes the sound of a guitar.  I need a new computer in order to add live instruments. I also have songs in which I sing, but without a new computer I can not record, at least not in my home studio.... The Courage To Be was inspired by reading Paul Tillich who wrote a book with the same name/title. You've probably heard of him as he was a theologian.

I STARTED IN CHURCH 44 YRS AGO. INSPIRED BY MY MOTHER, LORRAINE A. DAVIS. WHO SANG TO ME, AND TAUGHT ME AND PLAY GUITAR SINGING GOSPEL. ABOUT 7 YRS OLD, I STARTED PLAYING WITH MY MOTHERS GUITAR. WALK AROUND THE HOUSE SINGING. ABOUT 11 YRS OLD I GOT MY FIRST TAPE RECORDER, THAT WAS THE BEGINNING OF MY FIRST SELF RECORDING.IN HIGH SCHOOL, I STARTED USING CAMERAS FOR CLASS PROJECTS. THEN LATER IN LIFE VIDEO CAMERAS. TO THIS DAY MY MOM IS 81 YRS OLD AND STILL SINGS AND PLAY GUITAR FOR THE LORD. AT THE AGE OF 16 MY MOTHER SURPRISED!! ME WITH MY FIRST ELECTRIC BASS GUITAR AND HAD IT PRAYED OVER BEFORE I EVEN TOUCHED IT, AND IT WAS FOR ME TO DO THE WORK FOR THE LORD JESUS.. AND THEN WENT ON AS I GOT OLDER PLAYING FUNK, ROCK. RAP,JAZZ, BLUES, NEW AGE, HARD TUNE.EXCT. AND MIXED THEM ALL TOGETHER. BACK WHEN I STARTED GETTING OUT JAMMING IN MY 20'S AND 30'S, WITH GROUPS AND OTHER BANDS,FOR ONE,AND THE LAST BAND, I WAS THE FUNK BASS PLAYER FOR ROCK/R&B/FUNK BAND CALLED ODDISSY. MY MOTHER YEARS BEFORE THEN, TOLD ME IT WILL NOT WORK!! AND I WOULD NOT GET FAR WITH THE DEVILS MUSIC,MAMA WAS WRIGHT!!. MAMA SAID, PLAY FOR JESUS CHRIST!!! AND YOU'LL SEE IT WILL WORK AND TAKE YOU FARTHER AND LAST,WHAT YOU DO FOR JESUS WILL LAST.  NOW!! THIS IS WHO I BECAME, MORPHEATRIXX. IT'S 2011, AND MY DREAM IS TO SPREAD THE WORD OF JESUS CHRIST TO THOSE WHO NEED ENCOURAGEMENT,AND MORE FROM GODS WORD THROUGH MUSIC. Barrie, is Stutgart anywhere near Springdale?  I get there from time to time and would love to look you up.

Springdale is in the Northwest corner of the state... very near Fayetteville.  I'm not sure when I will get back again, but I will call and see if there is any way I can make it to Stutgart... wherever in the state it is.

Yeah, the northwest corner.  Opposite corner of the state.  Who knows?  Maybe I;ll make to the southeast part someday.  Will depend on the job...   Later, Dan
