Bio:
At the age of eight, J.C. picked up his first guitar. The rest, as they say, is history. An avid musician, he spent countless hours perfecting and practicing his craft. He was in several bands in high school, always seeking to grow as an artist and expand his skills. He played in several cover bands and began to introduce new music.

The budding singer/songwriter found even more inspiration when he left home and went overseas to serve his country. As part of the unit depicted in the movie "Blackhawk Down", he found a way to turn intense personal experiences into song, and just kept writing, kept singing, kept playing. For J.C., it always came back to the music. He kept playing and writing all through his military years, even winning 2 awards through the Army Entertainment Division (USO) for top Male Vocalist and Performer.

When he left the service, he came home and created a band to bring all those years of songs to life. He created J.C. & The Outlaw Band, and worked with Edwin Ridenour, an accredited producer affiliated with Mercury Nashville who saw the potential and passion in J.C. and his project.

The band was well received, and the first album, Can't Say I Do, received lots of airplay and garnered many devoted fans. They were played heavily through the Southern Rock Back Yard and found success, touring with big names and going on the road opening for the biggest country music stars of the '90s.

The band took a hiatus while J.C. focused on family, raising his children, and his youth ministry. It all kept coming back to the music, though - even his prison outreach ministry was heavily centered around his music. The pull of the songs he wrote kept bringing him back to his guitar, however, and in 2011, he dusted off his CDs and set to work remastering his original album.

The stage set for his re-entry into music, he began contacting old members of the band and finding new ones, reigniting his passion for the project and making him determined to bring his own personal style of southern rock to the masses. J.C. & The Outlaw Band is ready to ride again, and spread outlaw fever to all its fans.
