Rina (singer/songwriter), Born September 6, was born and raised in Los Angeles California and now resides in Palmdale California. Rina has had a passion and love for music since the age of 7 years old. Even though she was very shy, she never allowed that to stop her from performing. Once she stood on that stage, she allowed God’s light to shine on her through her song as she sung with style and grace. Growing up around a musical family, her mother Virginia Wilson sung in a music group with her brothers; (two of which wrote music for the late Barry White), Frank Wilson, and the late Vance Wilson. The group was called the Wil-son’s from the 60’s. Rina’s father, the late Bobby Sanders was also a producer in the 70’s producing groups such as the “Young Hearts”, “ Little Helen”, and “The Delicates” just to name a few. Rina’s life was surrounded by music. This Neo-soul Jazz Artist is no stranger to singing and over the years has created a style of her own. Rina’s style is fresh and smooth laced in a silky bliss not trying to sound like anyone else but her self. Rina has admired singers like The late Billie Holiday, Sarah Vaughn, Ella Fitzgerald, Patti Labelle, Jill Scott, Erykah Badu, and Stevie Wonder; all of which who has inspired her through their music one way or another.
