Bio:: Mary Jane Daniels was born from a love of songwriting and acoustic music. Living in Nashville, the band draws from many diverse influences such as The Black Crowes, Patty Griffin, Amos Lee, Ryan Adams, Ray LaMontange, Fink, and Chris Whitley as well as other influences from rock/ funk/country to Americana and soul. The music is intimate and inviting in it's simplicity. Songs are the main focus and the band spent most of 2011 writing material. With no original intention other than writing songs, some songs began to standout and the members decided to go into the studio and record a few. The result is the debut EP The Subtle Influences of Mary Jane Daniels. Released June 1st of 2012.
