Starting out at the age of 18 Charles listened and loved early on music from Ted Nugent, Queen, and Rush. "It's not terribly surprising that I started playing guitar as so many in my family played an instrument or sang. I suppose it was the natural transition as I was surrounded by it most of the time. I remember constantly listening to music on my old tape Walkman, man I went through so many batteries in that thing!". He started out by playing various rock tunes including listening & learning songs from such legendary bands like Rush, Yes, Led Zeppelin, and Bill Bruford to name a few. “I just love progressive music and Jazz based Rock. Rock has so much potential, and there is so much creativity and talent within all of the styles and bands it's so inspirational as a listener, let alone as a musician! I also happen to love Pop music, and listening at an early age of great solo artist such as Billy Joel, and Elton John provided even further inspiration. Great Pop is so incredibly memorable and emotional, and I thought it would be wonderful to fuse the intertwined & harmonically diverse and creative arrangements of Progressive Rock with the memorable strengths of Pop. Charles has been writing and recording his songs for many years and has learned so much in that time including how incredibly hard it is to find other musicians on the same wavelengths with the same persistence. He is currently exploring new idea's and is currently working on a solo instrumental album slated to be release on CDBaby by early 2012
