Bio:

Stan Jones, a native of Detroit, Michigan, began his vocal journey in church at the age of ten. He has delighted audiences throughout the country with Deitrick Haddon and the Voices of Unity, as well as resounding performances in such stage plays as I NEED A MAN, and GUILTY UNTIL PROVEN INNOCENT.
Stan has been a featured artist on numerous Gospel albums including a duet album with fabled Gospel Artist Laeh Jones from award winning Gospel group Witness. Opening for and performing with K-Ci and JoJo, Alexander O’Neal, Dave Hollister, Shirley Murdock and Yolanda Adams, Stan continues his Musical Journey.
With influences such as Sam Cooke, Donny Hathaway, Marvin Gaye and Marvin Winans, Stan released his first solo project entitled, The Stan Jones Experience in early 2004. The Experience is a showcase of Stan’s writing and vocal abilities as well as a true rendering of Gospel Soul.
Most recently Stan Jones is a featured on The Inspiration Compilation, with Various Artists released near the end of 2010. In February, Stan released Always On My Mind, a single for his yet to be released album of Love Songs. Later in 2011 look for The Groovement’s debut release in which Stan lends his more than capable vocals.
