Bio:

I am a freelance journalist and I host a radio show called Afternoon Indie with Myk & Livvy on v103 Rock. Both of the projects I am associated with focus on supporting the arts, music and fashion; independent unsigned artists in particular.

As a freelance journalist, my artist interviews and music reviews are published in Sacramento and Los Angeles, respectively. I became a part of v103 Rock in February 2012, with the launch of my own radio show Afternoon Indie with Myk & Livvy on v103. My show focuses on the lighter side of indie music; acoustic, alternative, reggae. My love for performing arts came to fruition at a very early age. Surrounded by a vast amount of Filipino and Irish/Native American culture, I was constantly encompassed by song and dance. My life studies have brought me places far and wide; which allowed me to develop an affinity for independent artists and musicians. I love to be involved in everything: Sports, martial arts, photography, SUPPORTING LOCAL ARTISTS, sketching, writing, filming, dancing, singing, traveling, Reiki healing. I truly enjoy helping others help themselves; believing in others and seeing their dreams become reality, so I feel blessed to have the means to do this.
