Ameera York is originally from Houston, Tx, but grew up in small town, Hallettsville, TX. Growing up with her mother always preaching Jesus and leading youth conferences gave Ameera a strong foundational background. Ameera has been singing the majority of her life, but began 'rapping' on her step-father's recordings with her 3 brothers. This led to the eventual discovery of a powerful vocal ability. Ameera can take any old gospel hymn and make it her own. She has an anointed sound that touches the hearts of many. Singing in many local churches over the years provided her the opportunity to walk in the mission that God has called her to. Her commitment is first to the Lord and her heart is to simply be a vessel for God's use - to heal, bring joy and help others see their purpose in the Lord's plan. Ameera loves performing and has fun ministering the Word and conveying the love of Christ to the masses. Ameera's gospel sound emits pop and urban overtones and affects a vast range of listeners.

    I need slap up the side of my head! It was such a honor to meet such a beautiful lady inside and out. You have a heart of gold. Sorry just does not cut it for me not ever getting back to you! But, I am really very sorry. We are all very busy and with your talent I know you are probably meeting yourself coming and going even with the COVID19. I got website  back up, build connections and fans once again, have products I am offering on my site now and growing. I lost my son and a brother lost his wife 7 days after my son and she was a sister to me. Ten we help each other out getting down hard after the music getting my 29th album out now and his first album out this Jan.2021. I will be releasing on July 1st, my birthday a long hard goal and dream of mine, releasing a 10-12 complete Children's song album. Doing art work for my brothers album, my own album, and other people's albums. Also have 2 complete soundtracks I did for 2 of 3 movie series in Canada, (Native movies). Hope I get to do the 3rd movie to complete the series. The 2nd one I also wrote and recorded a theme song for the movie, Return of the Raven. movie. My brother Eric and I built a short film Documentary of of a album I did 5 years ago titled "I Have No Country" after he told me 2020 with all the problems it was time to take the song titled the same to a visual Documentary and we did it and it is out in IMDBPRO. We are building a music video off one of Eric's songs titled, "Lonely Idaho" right now. Have plans for 2 short films built off of 2 of my new songs for this year. Eric and I both are in the field as actors and waiting on a couple of film Directors to give us the word and we are packed and off to show business.  Again I really am so sorry for not responding. You have some very beautiful pictures posted. You keep rock'n your music and making people feel good. I really means this, I HOPE TO SEE YOU AGAIN IF WE GET TO HAVE THE AWARDS LIVE IN HOLLYWOOD.
