Formerly of the R&B Quartette 2nd Nature, Darnel has honed his vocal and harmony skills to showcase his vocals with Soulfade. Darnel prefers velvet pipes over steel ones. John Hipolito - was born in Hollywood California. Raised in Los Angeles, he grew up exposed to Motown, Funk, and R&B. Scott has worked on numerous recording projects including his work in winning the KQRS Home grown “battle of the bands” as well as receiving radio play on cities 97. Quite simply, Scott smokes on the guitar! Stephen J. - was born in Merrillville IN. His early musical influences are Micheal McDonald, (the old Whitney Houston), Commissioned, just to name a few. Stephen started playing the drums in church where he developed his ear, and timing. He marched in the Tennessee State University band where he developed his chops. He attended MusicTech College (now McNally College of Music) in St. Paul to study under such greats as Marv Dalgren, Gordy Knutson, and Dave Hansel. As far as Stephen J. is concerned he will be playing the drums until he can no longer hold sticks. Ted Godbout - has performed professionally throughout the Midwest and the Northwest. Ted played in various bands performing on stage with acts like Guster, Three Dog Night, OAR, Tommy James and the Shondells, Bobby Vee, Little Richard, the Exies, De La Soul, and Everclear, Leon Russell, and the Cherry Poppin' Daddies, as well as the St. Cloud Symphony Honors Concert.
