Born in the same Home Town as Dave Grohl, Tommy McCoy and many others (Warren, OH), which is steeped in the rich musical roots of Ohio's undeniable contribution to musical history, Madam Weez continues the tradition with her original songwriting, unique presence and pedigree of musical accolades. Her current recording project “Mystic Blues” culminates the years of personal struggle and strife combined with the soul of her song and spirit of her musical energy. The contrast of her stark lyrics and brazen vocal prowess against her eloquent 12 string guitar mastery, conveys the reality of the blues dues she has paid. Madam Weez has recently joined the ranks of “Blues Diva” by opening for Ana Popovic, co-writing with the founder of the Tampa Bay & Sarasota Blues Festivals Jerry Ross and working with International Blues Recording Artist Tommy McCoy while remaining true to her roots of Rock-Country-Pop & Contemporary. Madam Weez's 2011 “Snowbird Tour” is cut short this year with ONE show in Mt. Airy, NC promoting her new CD “Mystic Blues” which is scheduled to be released by June 2011. Her first 3-song CD “Reflection” has already been released and has been well received by her audience.
