For me, singing is innate. My habit of always humming tunes as a toddler induced my mother to dub me "born singer". I was a child chorister throughout Primary and Secondary Schools during which I benefited from the tutelage of different school music teachers and church choirmasters. Actually wrote my first song as a teenager for me and my then boyfriend who owned a guitar to sing and play along. I'd been variously named: "naturally talented singer" by my then teachers; "voice" - by my fellow undergraduate students because of my singing habit with a soprano; "you sound like the radio" - by my friends; "with a voice like yours, you should be in the opera" - by fellow parishioners at the times my day job allowed my singing in the church choir. I'd been commended by a visiting Parish Bishop for my duet with the choir tenor during the Mass.
I reverted to writing songs in 2010 after I took a decision to make a career of my ability in this field. I was encouraged by a music industry Vocal Coach who turned my appointment for vocal coach to one of recording my vocals and insisted I did not need a vocal coach. The first Music Producer I approached and who recorded my debut Christmas song told me; "you are an excellent singer, you've got what it takes to do well in the industry, just't get on with it".
I released my debut album "Music Trail" in December 2011, followed by new Singles. These are available on Amazon MP3 and On Demand; see also Itunes
