Bio:

Born in Israel and now living in the UK, Shiraz began to shine from an early age. With her British and Moroccan heritage, a certain unique charm has helped to elevate her natural talent to its rightful place. Since the age of nine, Shiraz was singing in public as part of a Young Voices Choir. This touring group performed at a national level. It was during this time that the young and gifted artist learned how to remain on top form while working with a full diary. Shiraz also learned that she had what it takes to bring her voice to the next level, she knew her voice was strong enough to move away from the group.

By the age of eleven it seemed that nothing could stop her as she went on to perform at her first solo show. Since this time, the young and skilled vocal talent of Shiraz has taken her to succeed at many open mic nights, earned mentions by mainstream media at the national level, and had her music played on radio stations around the globe. Perfectly comfortable with all the attention and confident in her ability to sing, perform, and stay collected around the manic backdrop of show-business, Shiraz is a natural talent who fills the shoes she walks in perfectly.

Things are looking superb for this hard working and deserving artist, now that the first part of the challenge has sailed past. Today, Shiraz is ready to demonstrate that she has the staying power to become iconic in her genre. She's already had to assert herself in the music industry, the various sharks ready to snap up young and talented artists came and went as she showed them the door. She's strong enough to withstand the pressures of the business and stay true to her music. That's why Shiraz is so respected and has a following that believes in her as a person.

Influences began from an early age, her musical household had so many artists and events which helped to enrich her cultural education. Music from today such as Amy Winehouse and Duffy best describe the direction Shiraz has taken. Now with song-writing skills learned from some of the best, several hours of professional studio time experience, and a head for making the right moves, who knows where things will lead for her? More than one musician has material in the pipeline featuring this must see vocal treasure.
