Bio:
Goodbye Ronnie is essentially a sound of raw acoustic lullabies written and performed by Ronnie Lickers. Ronnie's writing technique and inspiration for his musical and lyrical energy content is channeled directly from his raw emotions. Composing from parts of the heart where some may fear to face, Ronnie is able to express himself thoroughly. The result, an acoustic songwriting style derived from the fragility of expressing the best words and sounds pulled right from his soul. Ronnie's lyrics are born from deep emotions from the depths of human longing, wistfulness and the bounds of unrequited love brought to life

“Lickers weaves his way through music that is especially stark ad achingly beautiful.
You can hear the air breathe between the notes, you can see the dust. It’s an acoustic – based,
soul searching endeavor for Lickers full of love songs, love –gone – wrong songs, and
lullabies for insomniacs”
Frank DeBlase, City Magazine / 98.9 the Buzz Sunday Night Shakedown Host.

The Goodbye Ronnie soulful sound is a divine mix of intense hard rock, folk, blues, and country all blended in a very captivating and whimsical way. His raspy low voice and clanging rhythmic guitar perfectly emulate a sound right from the heart. Ronnie's signature melodic hooks over his unique combination of chords capture the feelings that can’t be described with words. Goodbye Ronnie has accomplished both small tours and regional shows and is looking forward to performing on a national level. Ronnie tours with female vocalist Hope Kallback who‘s angelic voice adds great spirit and energy that completes the Goodbye Ronnie sound.

“Lickers takes us on his journey of self- reflection with a collection of songs that were
born out of a period of sadness, and ultimately contributed toward a process of healing.
Thus the name, Goodbye Ronnie, A metaphor for the artist getting away from his old self in
order to find himself again “
