Lovasia rose from the ashes of some of life’s hard trials, like a diamond from coal, stronger and ready to take on the world. Lovasia took advantage of a talent show at the university she was attending (Univ. of Akron) and performed one of her first poems ever written titled “Ghetto Beats”, which earned her the recognition and acknowledgement from her peers, who motivated her to follow her dream of breaking into the music industry as an artist and song-writer. Lovasia took all of her money from waitressing, her natural skills and her new car, drove to New York City after a well-known radio personality in Cleveland, Ohio helped her to get into a local talent showcase. Her eclectic sound and raw, natural talent could not be denied, because once in NYC after performing at every open mic she could find, she met a management company that assisted her in obtaining an interview in ‘4Front’ magazine. Having been the only unsigned artist in the September 2002 issue, Lovasia’s performance had to first impress the editor, Kenge Harris and from there even more opportunities came about for this young singer/song-writer. After two years of trying to break into the music industry, Lovasia was faced with the all-to-knowing circumstances of finding that she was with child. Once back in her hometown, Cleveland, Ohio, Lovasia took two years off from performing, yet still writing. She then met J. Woods, an up and coming producer she met while working at the same job. He introduced her to one of her hottest tracks … “ROCK STAR” and from there they collaborated on the next ten songs that would become her real opportunity to break into the music industry. Lovasia humble nature has carried her on her journey and after meeting with a gentleman named Mikale in Cleveland, Ohio who held karaoke nights at various clubs in the city, Lovasia was back in the performers’ seat blazing her own tracks everywhere she performed. Now this young singer, song-writer, recording artist and performer ‘goes hard’ when it comes to her craft and refuses to be ignored … with her up and coming album titled, “Room full of beats” introducing some of her hottest tracks like “The wait is over” … “We ready” … “I Believe” and many more … the only way for her to go from here … is straight for the stars where she belongs, so without further ado … CLEVELAND!
