13B is a collaboration between Brett Hardin and Marney (McCague) Hardin. Brett and Marney first collaborated on Marney's first solo release "Again," which was released in June of 2006. Created for and dedicated to the Irish dance community, the record has enjoyed much success. Both Marney and Brett are proud to be part of the Irish community in Nashville, TN, and affiliated with Irish Arts of Middle Tennessee. Visit their website at www.irishartstenn.com and become a Chairde (friend) of Irish Arts. Marney's background is classically based with a degree in classical Music Performance for Flute and Piccolo, and a minor in piano. A former dancer, Marney's exposure to Irish step dance and the greats in Irish music, such as Lunasa, Altan and Dervish led her and Brett to begin crafting their own unique sound that is a blend of electronica and Celtic music. Brett's background is rock, pop, and alternative based, and he brings influences such as Radiohead, VAST, U2, Foo Fighters, Jimmy Eat World, Massive Attack, The Beatles, Sarah McLachlan, and Tori Amos into the mix. Production and programming are the red thread of 13B. The talents of producer Brett Hardin and Marney's own engineering skills bring their sound to brilliant life.
