Rose started performing live at the age of five at the world famous Palomino Club in L.A. Since then Rose has not stopped, she has travelled all over the United States opening shows for her mother, Tokyo Matsu. Rose performed live with major artists such as Dolly Parton, Tanya Tucker, Kitty Wells, Reckless Johnny Wales, Buck and Duke, Mark Collie and many others in the Country genre. At age 17 high school was over so Rose was invited to go to Branson to perform at the Country Music Show Palace for a season and returned home to Nashville the next season to go to college. Rose was born into the business of music so the natural course to take after school was to go to work at Warner Bros. Records and work behind the scenes in the Artist Development and Publicity Department with artists like Faith Hill, Travis Tritt, Keith Urban, Little Texas, Randy Travis and more as well as performing live with then duo partner Jennifer Hicks as 2 A.M. Rose then took an opportunity to work with 5 time Grammy nominated producer Denny Knight, on an alternative rock project called “Dirty Girl” with all original songs self penned. The project took off and she was having fun performing live in the Nashville area doing alternative rock shows with other Nashville local bands such as SPOUT, Mellow Down Easy, Medicine Man, Death Cab for Cutie and more. Rose co-wrote a song with Denny Knight and Adam Shoenfeld (Big & Rich) and was awarded Grand Prize in the Songwriting category for "Judgement Day" in the Rocket to Fame Atlanta songwriting competition in 2002-collaborated with King Kooba on a dance mix of her original song "Slaves and Gypsies" for OM Records UK in 2004 and the last project in 2005 "Confession" with Bob Saporiti of WB Nashville. Now, since 2007 Singer/Songwriter is back with producer Denny Knight working on their next musical project “The Rose Knight Band” due spring of 2010. In 2010 Rose and Denny Knight received a “Collective Works” award from the “Song of the Year songwriting competition” with a song placement page http://www.songoftheyear.com/results/roseknight.html.
