Suiauthon Lhûgrancion and a few other "nom de plumes" (son of band leader Steve Tarnoff) playing bass and adding some younger blood to the band. Oyster Club continues to perform Home Planet music from the CD "We Come In Peace" found at http://www.Cdbaby.com/cd/homeplanet Mark Whitten plays bass guitar on that CD .

Oyster Club has released tunes on the CD "Grateful Living In The Shadows", which can be found at http://www.CDbaby.com/cd/oysterclub That CD is a three-act program touching on various aspects of the human condition. In short, world/global conditions, relationships, spirituality and death.

At present Oyster Club is working on more material and experimenting with new musicians, instruments, and styles. The seeds of inspiration for the next future CD are being sown. Oyster Club is named after one of the several intellectual clubs whose membership was composed of prominent intellectuals from the Scottish enlightenment (e.g. economist Adam Smith; philosopher David Hume; geologist James Hutton. Benjamin Franklin dropped in as well). We could all use some enlightenment.
