Bio:: Galit is a singer-songwriter based in Los Angeles. Before she started creating music, she was a co-founder of “SRO Entertainment”, a German-based film production company that produced Hollywood feature films with A-list Hollywood actors and directors, such as Tom Cruise, Selma Hayek, Collin Farrell, Donald Sutherland, Ann Hathaway, and more. In 2018 Galit launched her new career in music as a singer/songwriter, by converting her poems into radio format songs. Thus, successfully turning a childhood passion into her vocation. In 2018 she released two Eps, “Free” and “Love Is” and since then over 20 singles and a full-length album. Inspired by artists like Tori Amos and Tracy Chapman she’s now writing words and music that tell stories and speak about the human condition. Social justice, equality, and women empowerment are issues close to her heart. Galit is often compared to female artists like Alanis Morrissette, Lana Del Ray, Fiona Apple, Florence (and the machine), Sara McLachlan, and Joni Mitchell.
