Talented artists and songwriters, lyricist Charlotte Hannon, composer - producer Stevie Hawkins, Irish artist John Breen, and Tim Crouch - renowned musician, songwriter and producer, are honored with a nomination for Best Americana Song for their title, "I Still Believe", in the 2016 Indie Music Channel Awards. Hawkins is also the recipient of the Best Americana Producer nomination for "I Still Believe".
A collaboration between Hannon, Hawkins, Breen and Crouch, "I Still Believe" is the first single release from the John Breen album titled "Origins", released by Emphasis Records. The song is a unique fusion of American mountain folk and Celtic instrumentation. John Breen harnesses the melody, and carries us through a lyric of universal appeal with excellent production. The fiddle and mandolin set the mood while the tin whistle and Celtic harp create warm lush sounds that carry us right along until we too, find ourselves believing. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bq7p7l7a2WA
