Bio:: Ange-edouard Messou also know as Andy Basta was born, in Côte dIvoire, West Africa, January 5, 1993. In his early years, He developed a passion for poetry and used to write small poems. In 2000, the political situation in his country was not safe. Andy Bastas father (Kouablan Messou) started the procedures for his family to immigrate to Canada. In april 2005, at the age of 12, Andy basta and his family moved to Regina, in the province of Saskatchewan in Canada. In 2007, when Andy Basta was14, he was introduced to music by his big brother (Arthur Messou). Arthur offered him his first music making software (Fruity loops 7). Since that day, Andy has been working countless days and nights to become the best musician he can be. The creation process began. Andy basta was created to say and be what Ange-Edouard was afraid of being. He has for motivation to change the image that people have of rappers. He wants to show to the world that you can be educated and still be a rapper. As the title says he was Made for greatness. In 2010, Andy basta started working with others to take his skills to the next level. He met Miguel the Remedy and took classes from him to get his music production skills to the next level. He released his first single we on (to the top) and Made for Greatness late in that year. In 2011, Andy basta started his own record label called Dibom Records. His first mix tape Andy Basta is the name is scheduled to be released later this year.
