Anouschka is a singer-songwriter/guitarist based in Berlin, Germany. She's been called an improvisor on stage and a punk rocker at heart for her irreverence for convention and subtly ballsy lyrics, but her music is rooted in classic rock with americana influences. Her latest release "So Why?" is co-produced with Harris Johns (Engineer for Sodom, Toxpack, Slipknot). It features Anouschka on vocals and acoustic guitar, Chuck Anthony (Ace of Base, Back Street Boys, Eric Bibb) on electric, James Bradley Jr. (Beastie Boys, Anita Baker, Slash, Chuck Mangione) on drums, Rockis Ivarsson (Skyhigh) on bass. The EP was released to help fund Anouschka's volunteer work with wildlife conservation in South Africa. "So Why?" has been on top rotation in France, Germany, Belgium and Netherlands- and played in Italy, Spain, Portugal, U.S.A. and Hungary. It has stayed in the top ten of Reverbnation Charts since it's June 2010 release, hitting #2 and #3 spots in Februrary and March 2011- attesting to it's longevity. Anouschka has charmed audiences in New York, Boston, Los Angeles, South Africa, Sweden and Germany. She was raised in the United States, Europe and Asia. Her slogan “good music for a good cause” ties in various messages with her performances and releases. She is currently completing the next full-length album.
