Bio:: Audio Insight is a progressive rock trio of self-taught musicians from Woodbridge, N.J., who in less than a year have released the acclaimed debut album "Dimensions" (available on iTunes), were named one of the Tri-State's Top Unsigned Acts of 2011, have garnered features by commercial radio (WRAT 95.9 FM and WKVYN 99.3 FM) and college radio play (WSOU 89.5 FM, WPSC 88.7 FM and WRSU 88.7 FM), were featured on popular blog-talk radio program IndieOnAir! by Jeff Poka in Chicago, were featured in California's THE LIST Magazine, and recently played Bamboozle 2011 alongside Wiz Khalifa and 30 Seconds to Mars. Audio Insight knocks it out-of-the-park with their live performances. They've garnered new fans in the tri-state area and are quickly becoming a rising name in unsigned progressive rock. They've played big-time venues including the New Meadowlands Sports Complex, Starland Ballroom, The Stone Pony and they're headlining a show at Maxwell's this July. Andrew Magnotta, Associate Editor of The Aquarian says, “Audio Insight has a ton of upside, and Dimensions is a record that you will spin more times than once. It‟s melodic, energetic-even frantic at times-and thoroughly agreeable, with appeal to fans of both progressive rock and post-hardcore.” The band's sound can remind listeners of At The Drive-In, Coheed and Cambria, Deftones, The Fall of Troy, The Mars Volta, Mastodon, Rush, The Sounds Of Animals Fighting, Thursday, and Tool . On November 13, 2010, Audio Insight was the first band to release their album at Architekt LIVE and to also made venue history as its first sellout. With their undeniable talent and original sound, it is hard to believe that the members of Audio Insight started their journey towards an album jamming in a friend’s basement; and are still freshman in college.
