BlackRue is an original based band that is currently working on their debut album set to be finished in the fall of 2011. Frontman and primary songwriter Buck Reed draws inspiration from his own personal life as well as the triumphs and tragedy’s of other peoples lives in his songwriting.

The rhythm section in this band, (Matt Stabley on Bass and John Grimes on drums) have the keen sense on how to take a song idea and bring it to fruition allowing the emotional element of the song to shine through. While Kevin Buck adds that hard edge with his guitar.

This band is unique in it’s style due to the fact that it creates music that takes you on a ride, in your face rock to subtle emotionally based acoustic compositions.
