SONG OF THE HUMBLE HIGHWAYMAN

Life is Love is Truth,

Bend your neck and see it.

Heaven, winning countless hearts,

Is never won by force.

 

Mercy guide me straight,

Justice be my footfall.

May the pen of journey's end,

My faithfulness endorse.

 

Charity my path,

Patience my good highway,

Fruitful are the many boughs,

That dangle o'er my course.
