This project is being written and composed by David Batts and Mike McClure with the help from Brett Ray in video production
David has been a Road Musician In the U.S. for the last 30 years He now Owns 45 Cal. Records and Shotgun Studios where this project is taking place David has always surrounded himself with the best musicians in southern, IL. This Helps out whenever anyone wants to record at Shotgun Studios where david is Chief Engineer and Producer, there staff of studio players is the best southern IL has to offer.
Mike McClure who is also contributing his talents to the project by co-writing most of the music for it and helping produce the album.
Mike is also a promoter and A&R man for 45 Cal. Records and assistant Engineer for Shotgun Studios
This band is made up of some of the areas top musicians we are currently working in the studio on a new album at 45 Cal. Records.
We will be touring as soon as the album is finished watch for tour dates coming soon.
I can't wait to get this band playing venues this will be a blast on stage with the mix of very versatile musicians ranging from Funk To Rock To Country and topping it off with some Bluegrass players to create this wild Funky southern Rock Hillbilly sound.
We are Calling This new genre of music FUNKABILLY we hope the craze catches on this music we are creating is very fun to play and just has a feel good feel to it. To Quote My Co-Writer Mike McClure "Banjos Make Me Smile" say's it all.

Jim Cato
guitar and Vocals he has been playing professionally for over 30 years he adds a modern country feel to the sound of the group
Cassie Andrews
Is our banjo player she carries the whole melody keeps everything glued together and she's not hard to look at either.
David Batts
On Bass, Vocals and keys brings a super groove and funk feel to the mix.
Kenny Frick
A super drummer with an great clock and great dynamics also.
Dick Melvin
On DoBro he adds a style and sound all his own to the mix and is an integral part of the funkabilly sound we are getting at our shows.
Jason Worwick
On Steel Guitar this guy has worked with a tone of nashville acts too many to list he handles a lot of the leads in his own style to bring us to our unique sound.
Nathan Mcreynolds
Lead guitar and vocals comes from a musical family from Knoxville TN
With a bluesy hillbilly mix to Finish it off.
This all leads to our very unique sound from all these different backgrounds in music meshed together to form a very new sound that everyone can enjoy.
