Soapbox is a platform where we rant about ne’erdowells, rave about ne’erdowelling, and hide our hypocrisy behind some righteous rhythms. Founded by two East-Kentucky conspirators in the fall of ‘ought 7, Soapbox, as an institution, set out to make ends meet. When asked about the subtext of the band’s unwritten manifesto, the canned response was, “We are committed to stealing from only the richest musical traditions.”
