Bio:: Cortez & The Killers was formed in 2009 & is made of the following secret sauce. On rythm guitar & vocals Cortez. After hearing SRV on an Austin City Limits rerun he was hooked on the guitar. Cutting his teeth with local bands for several years he decided to go his own way in 2009 & has never looked back.

On Drums Darrell H. Playing drums is an obsession for Darrell. Joining forces with Cortez & The Killers has lead to one hell of a tight percussion sound that will surely bust your gut or die trying.

On Ibanez 6 string Bass Ryan G. Ryan has played about every instrument known to man at one time or another. Focusing on the bass guitar he decided that a mere four string was a little to easy for his nimble fingers so he decided to up the ante' and picked up a six string bass guitar. Keeping the bottom tight & in the pocket is what he do.

On lead guitar Ed D: Ed has a passion for the Blues that runs deeper than the Mississippi River. Playing the Blues is what he do! When asked what his secret is he says, "The littlest things make the biggest difference". Guaranteed to make you say Wheeeew!!!!
