You could hear a pin drop as the Gadget White Band took the Bryce Jordan Arena stage. The band was thrilled to be invited as the sole supporting act for legendary band Bad Company on their reunion tour. Billy Squire was originally scheduled to perform but had to cancel at the last minute due to a family emergency. Many of Squire's fans were not informed of the change until they read notices posted at the entrances. This made the band very nervous. Gadget remembers that night. "We walked onto the stage, the lights were dim and I heard someone say". "Who's that, the Dixie Chicks?" An announcer apologizes for the last minute change and introduces the replacement band. The lights come up and they dive into their 40 minute set.
