Nominated for 'Best Male Blues Artist' and 'Best Blues Demo' in the 2012 Indie Music Channel Awards.
Gerard performed worlwide for celebrities and royalty.
Just to drop a few names: Kenzo, Peter Ustinov, President Putin, The Sulatan of Kalantan and The King of Bahrain.
Worked alongside with artists like The Platters, INXS, Tom Jones, Robbie Williams, Marco Borsato, Laura Fygi and many more.
Gerard also performed for the final of the Tour de France 2011 and for several other major events like Formula 1 after-parties and Fashion Shows.
Although Gerard is predominantly a Blues and Rock musician, he is equally at home in Jazz and Pop music. His voice is often compared to Jamie Cullum and Michel Bublé but can also touch with a raw Blues tone.
His saxophone playing resembles at times the soaring sound of Hank Crawford and David Sanborn, but also whispers tender ballads with great ease.
Then there is, of course, his roaring Blues-Harp; taking amazed audiences across the globe right back to the streets of Chicago.
Finally there is the Poet: Gerard won a major poetry award in May 2011: De Zilveren Brandnetel. He won this award for a poem dedicated to his late father.
To sum it all up: Gerard is a complete artist with over 35 years of experience, a man able to take his listeners to a place where the words FUN and PASSION take on another dimension.
