- Project Violet is primarily a studio band combining the passions and talents of Gerardo Giusti and Ali Field along with the musical skills of some great California session players who drop by Gerardo's studio and record music every now and then. Gerardo is an active film composer living in Los Angeles and Ali has been an active singer and performing musician in California. In 2008 Gerardo and Ali decided to pool their talents to create and record music combining their diverse musical backgrounds and ideas. Project Violet seeks to mix eclectic sounds, electronic textures and melodious lyrics with the traditional rock line up to create songs that tell a story through words and musical texture. Project Violet released an EP titled Deadly Sins in the Spring of 2010 featuring four songs. Deadly Sins is the first recording effort by Project Violet.
