Bio:
Girlie Vasallo is a Filipino-Canadian ad agency associate creative director turned songwriter, with years of experience writing commercial soundtracks before moving to Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. She has earned recognition from the London International Advertising Awards and the Creative Guild Awards for her work in television ads, yet writing music is still her first love.

In just her first year of being an independent songwriter, she has already earned accolades in various prestigious international music awards, including winning best song under Gospel/Contemporary Christian in the ICMA InterContinental Music Awards, and winning the title for two consecutive years. In succeeding years, she has also found success and more opportunities to place her songs for synchronization in television shows.

She's an award-winning multi-genre songwriter, including categories such as adult contemporary, gospel/Christian faith, folk/acoustic, singer-songwriter, pop, dance pop & EDM and has worked with Grammy and Juno award-winning producers and arrangers in North America.
