Coming from Chesterfield, MA, Jacob Lentner and his brother Joseph have been playing music in their living room for 6 years. They live in the sticks in a town of about 1000, so making their name big in the music industry has been quite a challenge. Joining on bass is their friend Cortland Watson. Although the obstacle of living in a very obscure town may slow down most, the boys have already made their name known around Western Massachusetts, Northern Connecticut, and the Worcester and Boston areas. Some well-known venues LENTNER has played are Patriots Place at Gillette Stadium, Copley Square in Boston, and in front the Federal Hall National Memorial building on Wallstreet in New York City. They have also taken first at the 3 County Fair Battle of The Bands in Northampton, MA, first in the "Rocktober Fest" Battle of The Bands for Springfield MA’s ROCK 102 radio station, and first in Umass Amherst’s "U Rock" competition. The band's influences range from alternative, modern rock and metal (Nickelback, Metallica, Five Finger Death Punch, Foo Fighters, Shinedown, etc.) to classical sounding groups and blues groups (Ten Years After, Trans-Siberian Orchestra, Apocolyptica, etc.). Jacob, Joseph and Cortland love to play, and dream about the day when they can make music their career and lives. For now, LENTNER will play as much as possible.
