Established in 2006 in Needville, Texas, Alligator Assassins is an American rock band who combines elements of many different styles of music to create their own signature sound. Led by lead vocalist and drummer, Johnny Dgotti, the band has preformed at many venues and festivals across Texas. The soulful grooves and memorable lyrics of Johnny Dgotti, Froggy Wallstreet’s unconventional melodic bass licks, and the “groove-slangin’ tone-flangin’ all rude attitude” guitar by Navin “The Jerk” Johnson, fuse together to generate the explosive musical spectacle that is Alligator Assassins. The band’s influences include greats like Creedence Clearwater Revival, ZZ Top, Johnny Cash, Counting Crows, Tom Petty, and the Black Keys. Currently the Alligator Assassins are in the studio working on their second album.
