Joseph "Buck 55" Wicker, member of rising Hip Hop group R-U-Nutz, hails from Lousiville, GA. He started freestyling at age 16 for fun and to ease the pain and pressures of street life in Louisville. Buck 55, who has 2 older sisters and a younger brother, started hustling to help support his mother (a single parent) while living in Redclay Projects. At 17, he met group member Tim "J.O.C" Davis, who encouraged him to start writing his lyrics and perfecting his flow. R-U-Nutz started off as an independent production company in 2002 and evloved into a popular entourage of performers after moving to Atlanta. The group members consist of Buck 55, J.O.C., Fred B, and Ricky Tan. Buck 55 has opened for and performed with Jay Money, Juney Boomdata, Yung Ralph, and Mook B of D4L. Buck 55's love of music, people, and other artists such as 2pac, Biggie Smalls, Jay-Z, and Luke, keep him grounded and unstoppable in taking over the Hip Hop world!
